Cemetery Jackson Township of Seneca County, Ohio

1. No trees or shrubs planted without the written permission of the Jackson Township Trustees.
2. No flowers or decorations are permitted in the center of the lot.
3. Monument saddles are permitted all seasons.
4. Grave blankets, Evergreen arrangements and Wreaths are permitted November 1 to April 1.
5. Jackson Township reserves the right to remove any flowers or decorations that are not properly cared for, weathered or in the way of maintenance.
6. Routine annual clean-up is set for April 1 each year. All materials to be salvaged shall be removed by this date.
7. Jackson Township is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

1. Before foundations or monuments are erected, the Jackson Township Trustees must be contacted for specifications and locations
2. Foundations must be a minimum of 30” deep and between 2”- 4” wider than the monument, creating a 1” – 2” border around monument.
3. More than one monument may be placed on a single foundation.
4. Foundations and their maintenance are the responsibility of the heirs.
5. The trustees only allow one upright marker per lot.

1. The township trustees will allow a maximum of two cremains or urns to be buried per lot. 
2. A maximum of one urn or cremains may be buried over an existing vault or casket burial. However, a vault or casket cannot be buried in a lot where cremains have been already buried.

1. The cemetery is closed to the public between sunset and sunrise.
2. Jackson Township is not responsible for anything placed on any grave by the lot owner or other persons.
3. All burials shall be made using an approved vault.
4. Burial of animals or pets of any kind is prohibited.
5. Anyone purchasing cemetery lot(s) from Jackson Township and then wishing to resell said lot(s) must resell the lots back to the Jackson Township Trustees at the original purchasing cost at the time purchased from Jackson Township.
